About our home

Our home is a recently modernised, redecorated town house with beautiful views over Richmond, the castle, Easby Abbey and the River Swale. We have a large well-equipped kitchen/living room with a sepate lounge on the first floor. There are four spacious bedrooms on the first and second floors, sleeping 6 people, with the capacity to sleep three more in the downstairs cellar rooms. The garden is terraced with a large patio and barbecue, and children will enjoy playing in the tree-house and on the swing.

More about us

  1. We are Tony and Deana Rawdin, a Headteacher and Teaching Assistant (Though not at the same schools!). Our children are Elliot (15), Gaby (12) and Theo (5), who are all very well behaved (honest!). We are experienced home exchangers who will treat your home with respect. Although we have highlighted some areas that we would love to visit, we are open to offers for Autumn 2006 and Summer of 2007 so please get in touch by e-mail.

Where is it?

Richmond is a perfect base to explore the beautiful contryside of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, and is also convenient for trips to York, Leeds and Newcastle. In Richmond, there are several different restaurants, catering for a variety of tastes, and many pubs that serve excellent food. Just outside the town, there are even more village pubs well worth visiting.
