About our home

This is a large two bdrm, two bath very sunny apt with large terrace on 21st floor overlooking the Hudson River. Doorman building. Central air, very clean, modern appliances (Washing area in Basement of Building). Walk to many shuls and center of town for shopping.

Quiet, tree lined neighborhood. Walk to river with trails. Easy access to public tranportation. Ten minutes to manhattan by car...20 minutes by train. Many Israelis in building and vibrant Jewish community in Riverdale. Boasts HIR shul, home of Rabbi Avi Weiss. Several kosher restaurants nearby, more in nearby Teaneck NJ and of course Manhattan.

We are a middle aged couple...Our home is a kosher home and need a family whose adherence to kashrut matches that of others who might describe themselves as 'orthodox'. I hold a PH.D. in clinical psychology, Gila is an amazing artist. We love coming home to our apt...with its light, views and quiet. We are avid hikers and take advantage of easy access to great hiking just north of here but also love the city and are there regulary for great kosher food, theater and dance.
