Very cozy, completely re-modeled Pacific Heights apartment. It is small, but very nice. Brand new bamboo floors, granite countertops in bathroom and kitchen. We live in the prestigous Pacific Heights/Marina neighborhood of San Francisco. Walk to Golden Gate bridge and crissy field park. We are in the best local dining and boutique shopping districts in the city. One block from Union Street restaurants and shops, a few blocks from Polk street, Filmore street and Chestnut street restaurants and shops. Very close to Ghiradelli Square and Pier 39 as well as the Palace of Fine Arts. Arguably the best location in the city. You can walk to everything, and we do. We even walk to Union Square, but that takes about 30-35 minutes.
No view from our apartment, but plenty of views as you walk around the neighborhood. As the best thing about this area and our location is the walkability of the neighborhood I mostly recommend this property for people who have the ability to walk several miles including up hills. This is a fantastic way to explore San Francisco and the neighborhood is ideal for seeing the best of SF.
We enjoy the neighborhood for the young people, the lively activity, the fabulous restaurants and boutiques, the access to the parks at the Marina, the fantastic views while walking around and the accessability of it all by foot. Arguably the best the city has to offer is all within walking distance from our apartment.
We are a young professional couple, have a simple apartment, modestly but tastefully furnished. I am an acupuncturist my partner is an architect. We enjoy living a very active life, restaurants, shopping, travel and wine.
