About our home

Staying in San Jose centrally located within Silicon Valley you have many vacation-site seeing opportunities: In the San Francisco Bay Area you are close to the following Caliifornia attractions: North one hour is San Francisco, and another 30 minutes from San Francisco is the Napa Valley, where many varietals of grapes are grown and produce most of the top wines in California; heading South from San Jose, Santa Cruz/Beach Boardwalk/Capitola is a 45 minute drive; also from San Jose drive south for 1 hr 15 minutes to visit the Monterey Penninsula, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Carmel. The house is in a family townhome area with two stories, three bedrooms upstairs (master with King Sleep Number bed and private bathroom); one room has two twin beds, and the other has a couch. Master bedroom has room for a rollaway (we have a Graco style play pen for babies up to 1.5 - 2 yr old toddler). The room with the couch also has space for a foam mattress. There is a loft area that can also sleep up to three people on air mattresses. Master bedroom and room with couch have TVs (one 9 inch in master bedroom, and couch room has a 32 in). The downstairs has a small but adequate kitchen, small dining room (table can seat up to 8), and a small family room down a 2-stair level from dining area. (This is a 70's style townhome complex.) There is a small patio off the back w a firepit and a grill, and out the gate from the patio a large grass area for children to play.
