About our home

This beautiful home will welcome either the solo traveler or families, we are ready for you! Enjoy the deck while you relax by the chimanea, or get into the spa for total relaxation! The house has four bedrooms. There is a very comfortable sofa bed in the fireplace room. The playroom is great for kids, and the yard is fully fenced. I recently added an electric fireplace/heater to the master bedroom, so lovely to wake up and look out at the mountain while you are comfy and warm in bed... I love sharing my home with others, I know that you will love it too!

Where is it?

My home is just minutes from beaches, downtown SLO, and great hiking and biking trails. If you are interested in exploring Highway 1, it is only minutes away as well. You are just 100 miles from Santa Barbara, close enough to drive down and back for the day - or take the train for an overnight - and come back to your beautiful place by the lake to relax. You will love being able to ride a bike downtown in just minutes, or drive there in 5 minutes, yet feel like you are hours away when you sit out on the deck with a glass of local beer or wine. There are over 300 wineries in SLO County - have fun!

Buzzy restaurants
So many amazing restaurants in SLO now, you can eat at a different fabulous restaurant every night! Do you want to eat at the beach! Do it - drive there in 10 minutes and curl your toes in the sane...
Cool bars
We have many wonderful bars in downtown SLO, or go to one of the wineries that features a great chef! You get to choose, this area is fantastic for food, wine, or beer!
Cozy cafés
I have MY favorites, but you decide which ones YOU like - there are many to choose from. I will leave out menus for you to decide where you would like to go.
Retail therapy
Shopping is fun in SLO because of the boutique shops mixed in with the big name stores - the mix is nice and you don't feel that you have seen the merchandise in every other town you have been in! So much local talent, so many lovely items to choose from - save some room in your suitcase!
Bit of culture
There is always something to do or see in SLO - whether it is a Broadway show at the Performing Arts Center, or a local musician performing at a winery - the talent here is fantastic!
Walks in the park
From hiking trails in the hills to a leisurely walk downtown in 20 minutes, you can choose how much exercise you would like to undertake. There are so many beautiful places, you will want to be outside enjoying Mother Nature.
Spot of exercise
Beaches, parks, mountains, and of course gyms - they are all here - you can choose how you want to burn off all those calories from the wonderful meals you will have.
Day tripping
Drive to Santa Barbara, up the coast on Highway 1, over to Morro Bay, up to wine country in Paso Robles, out to California Valley, or perhaps just a short drive up and over Prefumo Canyon... You can day trip however you choose. Even up to Hearst Castle to see how the other half used to live here in SLO County!
