Our luxurious, yet comfortable home has 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, living room, family room, formal dining room, and gourmet kitchen…over 3000sf, all tastefully decorated. The newly remodeled family room includes a new gas fireplace, new carpeting, and contemporary furnishings. The house and grounds are gated and fully fenced in, private, spacious, and serenely embedded in a wooded setting beside a small creek (active only in the winter). It is not unusual to see deer roam the grounds (and many other manner of wildlife!). Enter through an expansive foyer that leads to a huge living room sporting hardwood floors, a fireplace and a tuned piano for the musically inclined. The adjacent formal dining room can accommodate 8-10 and leads to the fully equipped gourmet kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, a center island, breakfast bar, and pantry that folds seamlessly into the newly decorated casual dining area and the adjoining family room. Wine Country (Sonoma and Napa) is within a 20-40 minute drive north. A 3 hour drive east takes you to spectacular Lake Tahoe. Freeway access is just 2 minutes away. Bus service is a short walk; we are a 5 minute drive to either downtown San Rafael to the south, or an elite shopping mall to the north; both have great dining and shopping. Fully equipped fitness facilities are a short walk away. Movie theaters are within 5 minutes of the house. Walk out the back door and hiking is at your footsteps as well as a fully equipped state of the art community center with 2 pools, classes, workout facilities, and summer camp activities for the kids. There is so much to see and do!
