1,700sq ft home with a 5,000sq ft split level back yard and a 420sq ft complete home gym. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, designed by the owners (an interior designer & personal trainer) to be the ultimate retreat for California living & vacations, & a fitness lovers paradise. Epic sunsets from deck daily!

The space

INSIDE:

A large kitchen with a ten foot island and a Wolf 36" range perfect for those who love to cook and serve after they shop at Santa Barbara's famous farmers markets! Kitchen is open to the living/dining/piano room with huge ceiling to floor windows and views of Santa Barbara, a wood burning fireplace, and a large front deck.

The kitchen includes every necessary tool to make any meal you like:

-Wolf 6 range stove and oven
-Toaster
-Microwave
-Vita-mix blender
-Rice cooker
-Cuisinart coffee maker, a French press, and a coffee grinder
-Double stack dishwasher
-Pots, pans, silverware, plates, etc.

BEDROOMS/BATH:

Bed 1: Pull out couch and flat screen TV (sleeps 2)
Bed 2: Twin Bunk Beds (sleeps 2)
Bed 3: King Bed, private bathroom and front porch with views (sleeps 2)

There is also a large couch in the living room that comfortably sleeps one person.
Bath 1: deep soak tub.
Bath 2: (off the master) Walk in steam shower with river rock floors to massage your feet.

THE GYM:
A 420sq foot gym/training studio. Fully equipped with only high quality equipment, a lifters/fitness enthusiasts paradise. Personal training sessions are available on request for a separate fee.

OTHER AMNENITIES :
-two paddle boards, 1 long board, 1 beach cruiser a nd 1all terrain bike etc. speak to us if you wish to use any of these so we are sure to have them ready(You will be liable and need a roof rack to transport). We will let you use our toys with a damage deposit and liability waiver- or we can tell you where you can rent them all directly downtown- either way giving you the flexibility to enjoy all the outdoor fun!

DOGS:
We have two dogs 1 is a puppy who has chewed a few corners. We have a pet pen for a large dog and a closed in yard and front deck. We welcome dogs so long as they are well trained, and keep off furniture. We have dog beds and waterbowls available. (Be mindful of rattlesnakes and ticks if you are hiking- talk to us and we can get you info you need).

KIDS:
Since we live here with our 6 and 4 year old kids we are happy to pass on sitters and other kid advice. There are also MANY 1 week amazing summer camps here. If that sound appealing we can help you find something so that adults also get some free time! Rancho Palimino is a 5 min drive in the canyon from us and they have a kids summer camp that kids rave about here!

Guest access

Our home has been a two and a half year labor of love, and we consider it a small paradise. We love having guests, traveling, camping, and meeting people from every corner of the globe, and are excited to share our little oasis.

WE LIVE HERE PLEASE BE MINDFUL AND RESPECTFUL OF OUR HOME AND HAVE FUN!
Guests have full access to everything with the exception of some marked drawers and closets. (We will be sure there is place for your stuff).

We ask kindly that you respect that this is our families home and care for it like your own.

Interaction with guests

We will meet you and show you the house, yard, and gym. We will be reachable or have someone available for help if we are not.

Personal training sessions are available on request for a separate fee.

Other things to note

We ask that all guests please follow some basic rules:

-Please smoke outside not in the house, tent, or gym. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WE LIVE IN A FIRE ZONE. Please extinguish any and all smoking related materials, clean up and dispose of all ashes, butts, etc., and be extra cautious. :)
-Water usage: Santa Barbara County is in a severe drought. Please be conscientious water users and keep showers short. (The steam shower uses much less water than a regular shower. Add essential oils, have a seat and get the full spa experience.)
-Pets allowed upon request. We have a large kennel and the house is fully enclosed both front deck and backyard so pets can roam free. Please keep them off the furniture, there are dog beds they can use ☺. Please pick up the poop we have a bin for it :)
-Neighbors: Please respect our neighbor’s privacy, and minimize noise/volume levels.
-There are a few drawers we will mark as private/off limits. Otherwise what is ours is yours.
-The Gym: Wavers must be signed before using the Gym. Please respect the equipment, use with care and caution, and clean up when done.
-Please leave everything as nice as you found it, thank you!
