There is a small park which is about a 5 minute walk from our home. There are 2 big parks about 5 minutes drive from our home.
We live in the Banana belt. Which means we live in a warmer area of Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz is MUCH warmer than San Francisco. Take jackets to the city!
It's a mixed neighborhood with families, seniors and single people.
All single homes, townhouses, duplexes in neighborhood.
Our street turns into a cul-de-sac.
Really nice quaint downtown area. Movies, music, outside dining, boutiques as well as less expensive shops, Farmers Market, Weekly antique Fair.
We are near the freeway. But no loud freeway noise.
Regular and Natural Food Stores are within walking distance as well.
A nice New Age bookstore is a short distance away as well.
Beaches are close. We live near several. They are about 2-3 miles so you may prefer to drive or bike ride.
There is a skate park as well as a bmx park close to the Boardwalk.
