About our home

Ours is a humble yet stylish home. Mid-century layout with splashes of modern flair. Great for younger kids and adults alike. Large deck with dining table and jungle gym swing/slide set in back. Also lots of outdoor seating. Detached "annex" with HDTV with AppleTV, Netflix, Hulu, and much more. Plug in your mobile device for stereo sound in both main house and annex. King size bed in master bedroom. Two bathrooms with shower/bath. Modern kitchen with gas range, big fridge, dishwasher, toaster oven and microwave. Modern washer/dryer in annex. And lest we forget the private "outdoor spa." Grab a glass of wine, ditch the wardrobe, and enjoy a soak in the clawfoot tub under the stars -- or just shower off after a salty day at the beach.

Quiet neighborhood walking distance to parks, art galleries, and cafes thanks to "silicon beach" startups and creative/industrial offices nearby. Hop on the bikes (provided with or without baby seat and/or trailer) and mosey to Santa Monica or Venice Beach 3.5miles away for family fun (or plenty of adult debauchery.) By car, it's a quick ride to Hollywood, Downtown LA, Culver City, Malibu, Los Feliz/Silverlake, fantastic hiking trails and more. Daytrip opportunities to Santa Barbara, San Diego, Laguna, Disneyland, or just up PCH for a gorgeous ride as far as you want to go. Got a weekend or more, head up to Big Sur, Carmel, San Francisco, East Bay, Napa Valley. Or drive inland a few hours to Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Desert Hot Springs, Mammoth, Paso Robles. ... This is why we love LA.

  3. We bought our house 3yrs ago and have been renovating ever since. Great fun.
