About our home

This is a unique modern guest house on a large resort-like estate located on a mountain top near the coast in southern California between Malibu and Santa Barbara in rural Ventura County. The closest cities are Thousand Oaks and Camarillo, both a 15 minute drive away. The house is luxurious, very private, and has spectacular views. It is completely separate and distant from the main house and includes a tropical garden, private pool and hot tub that you share with no one. A king size bed is located in a loft that is accessed by a spiral staircase. There is also a fold-out bed on the first floor that can accommodate one person. It has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen (gas stove, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator/freezer,houswares), stereo, smart TV (includes cable and Netflix), high speed internet access, phone (unlimited calls in the U.S.) and outdoor barbeque. As we do not live in this house, it is usually available and we are very flexible with dates for a non-simultaneous exchange. Also, we will consider swaps where our guests stay longer than we stay at their home.
