About our home

Our beloved home is the perfect balance, close to every kind of enjoyment imaginable. We are 45 minutes from Pacific Ocean beaches (sun, swimming, surfing), 75 minutes from San Francisco (opera, concerts, theaters, museums, sports stadiums), 30 minutes from Calistoga Hot Springs, and less than 20 minutes in every direction to world class wineries (Napa Valley, Healdsburg, Dry Creek). We have a wonderful climate, temperate and warm in the Fall.

Sonoma County is a hub for organic local food, as well as talented local musicians and artists. Point Reyes National Seashore, a national treasure 1 hour south, has phenomenal hikes, biking and beaches, as well as locally crafted cheese, oysters and agriculture. Closer to home, it is ten minutes to Annadel State Park, where you can explore for an entire day or more on bikes or on foot without retracing your steps.

When you enter the home, the living room is on the right with the amazing baby grand piano and comfortable sitting area. It is our favorite place to read!

The home is 1,950 square feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The spacious master bedroom has a king bed with en suite bathroom (and lovely tub). The second bedroom is a twin and is set up for a child, and the third has a double futon which is very comfortable. There is also a fourth room that we use as an office that is just above the double bedroom. If you'd like, we could set it up with an air mattress or some other solution for you to sleep another person. It has a large closet, but no door.

The modern kitchen has granite countertops and includes a dishwasher and garbage disposal. It opens to a dining space that seats 6 comfortably, and a lovely family room.

The patio and backyard are a true secluded oasis. We would love for you to use our BBQ and the hot tub, which is nestled under the trees. We even have a tree house! There are three sliding glass doors to the patio as well as beautiful picture windows in the family room. We have no neighbors behind us, just a hill of beautiful natural boulders and bay trees.

Our home is child friendly but adults will enjoy it just as much. We live in a very quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street, around the corner from an excellent elementary school as well as a wonderful nursery/preschool. We are one block from Hidden Valley Park.

Ideally, we would like to be in Spain or Italy for 1 to 2 months, from early September until early November. However, we are open to your ideas and look forward to hearing from you!
