We recently remodeled our entire home. Its very modern with wood floors. We live in a one level home with panoramic views of the valley and hillsides. We enjoy BBQing and dining on the deck. The San Diego weather allows us to be outside most of the year.

Guest bedroom: 2 twin beds, tub shower unit.
Kitchen: very modern, all the amenities and appliances.
The house is designed for "living" space and smaller bedrooms.

More about us

  1. Our son will be studying abroad at the University of Wales, Swansea. We would like to join him during his Christmas and Spring holidays. John and I are in our 50's and live in an adult only community. We enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures and communities.

This is our first exchange and we are looking forward to many more.

A neighbor will greet you upon your arrival. I have prepared a "Sightseeing" book of the San Diego area for your pleasure.

Where is it?

We are centrally located in San Diego. Some trolley and bus available, however a car would be best. Travel is easy and traffic is light by California standards. Will consider a CAR swap.
We are 20 min from everything: Beaches, downtown San Diego, San Diego Zoo, Wild Amimal park, La Jolla, sailing in the bay (boats easy to rent), Coronado Island Ferry landing (our personal favorite), Balboa Park and Museums (25 museums, restaurants), Hiking at Mission Park and Cowels Mountain, Biking at the beach, Old Town (historic old San Diego (tours, dining and shopping), Seaport Village, Julian (small apple growing village with dining, shops), Indian Casino's.

Mexico is easy Trolley access - approximately 25 minutes.

Los Angeles is 2-3 hrs.
