About our home
Our villa is located in a quiet golf community in Bradenton, Florida. We have two master bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The house has been completely renovated and is cheerful and functional, with a garage and friendly neighbours. The living room is good size the dining room provides easy acess to the the fully loaded and modern kitchen. We also have a new 55 inch flat screen TV with over 100 channels and high speed internet.

More about us

We are both retired professionals, , Peter, a shop coordinator, and I was an HR manager. We both love to travel and are eagerly looking forward to investigating new places and meeting new people. We are in our seventies and feel (hope) we have years ahead to enrich our lives in new and different ways. We take good care of our two homes and promise to do the same if you will trust us with yours. It is important that I mention we are warm weather travellers only. We are opened to traveling 12 months of the year. We are hoping to find a swapper interested in swapping their home near or on a golf course. For 1 to 3 months, January to March. Some flexibility there.

We are a sporty couple, Peter in his prime was a 3 handicap. Me more of a duffer, still working on my game. I volunteer at a couple of art centres, enjoy gardening, biking.
We also love traveling, the theatre and trying new things, enjoy wild life and mom and pop restaurants or just leaning back and enjoying the sunsets.

Where is it?

Our home is only 15 minutes by car , to one of the most beautiful beaches in the WORLD, Siesta Beach, recently voted number one if the US. We have a community heated pool and tennis courts and fitness centre full of top quality exercise equipment. From our lana/ porch we enjoy iexposure to the sun and there is a good view of the water and the Tara golf & Country Club. We are one hour from Busch Gardens and Sea World, (Tampa area) further we are also about 1 1/2 hours from Disney World by car. Shopping is wonderful, and there are plenty of good restaurants, churches, fun spots, theatres including one opera house. Weather over the winter months runs between 70 F and 75 F and in the summer it can be as high as 90 F. Our place is air conditioned and nicely appointed .
