About our home

Our large studio condominium unit is just across the street from the beach in our favorite part of Florida, in the heart of Seagrove Beach along the Emerald Coast and Scenic Route 30A (in the Florida Panhandle, midway between Destin and Panama City). Beach access is right across the street, with outdoor shower, bike racks, and built-in benches to enjoy the sunrise and sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. A peek at the ocean from the deck.

Beautiful sugar white sand beaches (comprised of pulverized quartz crystal), and emerald water. Rare coastal dune lakes. Miles of bike paths along Scenic Route 30A. Plenty of beautiful local area beaches, neighborhoods, resorts, and restaurants to explore along 30A. Just down the road from Seaside (where "The Truman Show" movie with Jim Carrey was filmed) and Watercolor resorts. Easy access to the fantastic beaches makes this condo perfect for a couple or a small family looking for an enjoyable vacation.

This newly remodeled second floor unit includes a queen Murphy wallbed, queen sleeper, and built-in hallway bunk beds, so it sleeps 6. New appliances, new furniture, granite countertop, hardwood reclamation oak flooring, wide-screen high definition TV, DVD player, and iPod docking station. Take advantage of the large pool and barbeque area, which includes a poolside cabana and laundry facilities. This is our vacation property, so it is open to non-simultaneous exchange. No smoking, and no pets, please.

Seagrove Beach is one of the Beaches of South Walton, located in Northwest Florida on the Florida Panhandle. It is a world of natural beauty unlike any other - a special place that includes Seagrove Beach, Seaside, WaterColor, Grayton Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, Seacrest Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Inlet Beach. This section of beaches stretches along a road called Scenic 30A. It is an area where nature's treasures still remain unspoiled. Forty percent of the land surrounding 30A (56,000 acres) is owned by the State of Florida and is protected against future development.

The majority of land is dedicated to state parks and forests. In addition to the fabulous beaches, there are miles of terrific biking and hiking trails, great golf courses nearby, and numerous opportunities for amusement, shopping, and nightlife. Running the full length of Scenic Highway 30A, the 19-mile paved 30A Bike Path (also called the "Timpoochee Trail") winds along coastal dune lakes and through a dozen charming beach communities.

The community of Seagrove Beach is located midway between Destin and Panama City, in the heart of the Emerald Coast and Beaches of South Walton County. It represents a vacation paradise ... from the sugar white sands and emerald green waters of top rated beaches ... to the woods and marshlands where endangered plants, animals, and exotic birds thrive. You will love the unspoiled environment. Endangered Loggerhead Turtles nest on 30A's beaches between May and October. Coastal dune lakes like those found along 30A are extremely rare, occurring in only a handful of places in the world (including Africa and Australia). 30A is home to the world’s largest concentration of coastal dune lakes. 30A is the only destination in the country to have its entire coastline certified by the Clean Beaches Council. The unique sugar-white sands found on 30A's pristine beaches consist of pulverized quartz crystal, carried down the rivers from the Appalachian Mountains over the millennia.

My husband and I have three young children, and we love to travel (both with and without our children). We live near the ocean in Portland, New England, Maine, USA, and also have a small oceanfront cottage on Cliff Island in Casco Bay, Maine, which is also available for non-simultaneous exchange. My husband is a Partner in a regional law firm, where he specializes in Sports & Entertainment Law, Intellectual Property, Litigation, and Business Law. We are non-smokers, do not have pets, and are very clean, neat, and respectful of other people and their property.
