About our home

This is a 1930s todur style brick house in the city of Seattle. It's big (2500 square feet) and close to things. the bus stop is half a block away and takes you straight downtown, but you can also take the car if you like. We have some bikes (fixies) in the garage.
There are four bedrooms, one for the parents, one with a set of bunk beds, one used as an office/library, and the one in the basement isn't fully furnished (though it's great to sleep there in the summer). There is a great cherry tree covered outdoor seating area with a grill.

The neighborhood is one of the old Seattle neighborhoods with a lot of old brick houses. the closest coffee shop is 5 blocks downt the street. The streets are lined with old trees. There is a park/playfield roughly 4 blocks down the street as well. You can take the bus anywhere from here, or ride your bike. The neighborhood is residential, quiet and safe.

We are a young family of four. we love the outdoors, biking, boating, and going out to the city at night as well. My wife loves to cook the most delicious French and German foods, and I like fixing up my Lambretta and riding my fixed gear bike around town. We all speak English, German and French fluently.
