About our home

Four-bedroom, two-bath private home just ten minutes from downtown Seattle--but adjacent to the lushly landscaped Aboretum. Framed by towering cedars, white-brick house is one story facing the quiet, residential street; two-story back (with terrace and patio) overlooks the spacious lawn and trees. Two wood-burning fireplaces, well-equipped kitchen, recently renovated bathrooms.

Best of both worlds--minutes from downtown and the creative vibe of Capitol Hill, but in a tranquil, green neighborhood of private homes. Walk two blocks to the Arboretum and its hiking/biking/jogging paths along Lake Washington. Three minutes from the 520 Bridge to the Eastside (Bellevue, Renton, etc.) and five minutes from the University of Washington.

We both are professional travel, food, and wine journalists with top national magazines who travel extensively.
