About our home

Our comfortable country home is a homestead farm on 4.5 acres, filled with New England icons such as stone walls, sheep, fruit trees, organic vegetable gardens, and lots of beautiful trees. We are only a few minutes walk from our sweet little town library, and a 20-minute drive from the culturally vibrant, unique small town of Amherst, MA. The Pioneer Valley is known for its beauty, friendly residents, and fantastic local foods. The Five Colleges around Amherst mean that our towns are filled with well-educated residents and fantastic cultural events without the noise or stress of the city. The Pioneer Valley is known for its traditional New England charms, such as maple sugaring in the winter, cross-country skiing in winter, and corn mazes, apple pressing, and pumpkin picking in the fall.
Our cozy home has hardwood floors, a very well-equipped kitchen (we're restaurant owners), a woodstove to keep you toasty even in winter, and lots of room to walk and play outside and in. Our home is just a few minutes from the large Quabbin reservoir, which is surrounded by walking trails.
You'll have the chance to really live on the farm! Feed hay to our two friendly ewes, and pick some tender fresh veggies for your lunch and dinner.
Our location is a perfect "home base" for exploring New England - we are only a 2 hour drive from Boston, and 3 hours from New York City or Maine, a 1 hour drive takes you into Vermont, New Hampshire, or Connecticut.
