My husband and I live in the artsy-bohemian Silverlake area of Los Angeles. The neighborhood is cute, cultured, and very pedestrian-friendly. We're centrally located to downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Universal Studios, and Pasadena. There's a Metro stop one block from us that can take you into Hollywood, downtown, or Universal City in less than 20 minutes.
Our apartment is a GORGEOUS 3 bedroom tucked away from the street over 4 garages that are used for storage only (very private and quiet). From our windows, you can see the Hollywood sign and the Griffith Park Observatory. We have plenty of space, can sleep up to 6 people, and have a large kitchen with all modern culinary needs, perfect for dining in.
We're taking a month off during the Christmas 2009 holidays, dates flexible, and would love to swap with someone living in Europe (preferably Paris, Greece, or Italy), Costa Rica, or someone living in Hawaii.

My husband is a technology consultant. I am a writer. We both work from home, and love to travel. Our home is relaxing, comfortable, and like an oasis in the city.
