Located in Smyrna, next to the county seat for Cobb County (Marietta). Can reach downtown Atlanta in just 20 minutes. Eight miles from the interstates. Smyrna has great resturants, new town center, and lots of shopping areas. Marietta has a historic town square with antique stores and quaint resturants. Just minutes from Civil War battle sites, such as Kennesaw Mountain. Sidewalks take you to the Silver Comet Bicycle trail, which is five minutes from the house. Trail is for bicyclists and joggers and stretches into Alabama and to Atlanta. Area is in the heart of suburbia, but can reach the country in 45 minutes and all the great things Atlanta and Buckhead have to offer in just 20. Check out the historic sites by day and the thriving night light in the evening!
Our family has owned our property for the past 60 years. I am 23 and live with my sister (16) and parents. I am a financial advisor and manage the family businesses (including the equestrian center, real estate business, and family partnerships). My father has worked for Georgia Tech University for 30 years, and my mom is an elementary school teacher in Smyrna. My Grandmother, lives in another home on the property, and we all love to travel. At times we may not all be able to leave the home for the exchange, but do ask as we most likely can. We also don't mind doing the exchange at different times as we could stay at our Grandmother's. We love to travel. My parents and sister enjoy cruises, while I get to Europe as often as I can. We have a friend who has a home in Provence and I have been going their every summer for the past four years. We are a very laid back family and love learning about other cultures. We take great pride in our family's property and feel that it is our gift to society. Check out our horse stable's website at: www.gbstable.com
