About our home

Our charming two-bedroom, 1 1/2 bath condo is only two blocks from historic Sonoma Plaza. The condo is in a small 16-unit complex and is over 1100 square feet. Bedrooms and living area are large and comfortable. There is a master bedroom with a queen bed and half bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed and twin-sized futon. The living room sofa converts to another queen bed. There is a gas fireplace, small patio with table/chairs out front, and an outdoor pool which is open from May to September. The kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, a breakfast bar that seats two, and table that seats four. Two additional chairs can be brought in from the patio to seat six. There is a bike path behind the property which traverses the town of Sonoma, making everything walking or biking accessible.

Staying here, you can park your car and walk/bike virtually everywhere. You can walk to wine-tasting, restaurants, a country cheese factory, wineries, and many art galleries and shops. Gourmet markets abound. The Plaza hosts many events throughout the year including art shows, concerts, and a weekly farmer's market. There are grounds to picnic and a large playground. You are in the heart of the town of Sonoma and can walk or bike to General Vallejo's home and many other historic sites. Some wineries are within walking or biking distance, while other Sonoma Valley wineries are a short drive. The Napa Valley is only 20 minutes away.

If you want to visit the city, San Francisco is less than an hour's drive.

If you are looking for a weekend or week in the heart of the wine country, walkable to everything, this is a great choice.

We are a professional couple who live in Marin County, 45 minutes from the condo. We go to Sonoma primarily on weekends, to enjoy the relaxing country setting, as well as wine-tasting and restaurants.

We are interested primarily in other trades in California, particularly long weekends: Mendocino, Monterey, Carmel, Santa Cruz, Truckee/Tahoe Donner, and possibly other places we have not yet explored. As we do not live in the condo, we are flexible with trade times.

Thank you for your interest!
