LOVELY POOL HOME IN FLORIDA.

“A slightly truncated non-simultaneous exchange with Brenda because of world events has been an absolute pleasure. Despite all the issues of having to rearrange this exchange because of COVID-19 Brenda has been a fabulous host and great communicator. Her house was a real home from home for us with really clear instructions and a manual of great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We loved all aspects of our stay in Jacksonville. When at home we took full advantage of the fabulous outside space that Brenda has at her property. We took time to explore the coast and beaches (St Augustine was one of our favourites).. We especially enjoyed the sports complex in Jacksonville where we took the time to go to ‘Shrimps’ baseball matches and ‘The Icemen’ hockey games. Would definitely want to come back to this area (and house!) as it has so much to offer. Thanks for a great LHS experience”

“We’ve enjoyed 10 days at Brenda’s home early August 2021. She was really nice, her home is very comfortable and organized, garden peaceful and manicured, spacious place for 6, nice pool, wonderful porch, and the communication with her via email or txt was awesome. Her instructions clear and easy. Near her home there are places to eat or shop around 2.5 miles away, and a nice wild reserve/park to walk or bike nearby too (on Bartram Pkwy) around 3 or 4 miles away. We loved to be 30 min away from Old St Augustine and around 25 min away from very nice Jaxs or St Augustine beaches. We’ve also brought our bikes and did the whole Jacksonville Baldwin Rail Trail one day: a 14 mile, peaceful, quiet, paved biking road, located 30 min from Brenda’s home. Brenda and her family left our condo in good condition after their stay in our place too. We really recommend her for a home swap: she is very trustworthy, and nice and easy to communicate with. “We had a WONDERFUL time at Brenda’s home. Brenda was so kind and gave us a tour of the house to let us know where everything was; it was very helpful! The house is beautiful and the outside area with pool is great for chilling out. There are a whole host of shops and restaurants nearby and Brenda gives some recommendations too which is handy. We visited St Augustine which was well worth it and only a 20/30 minute drive. Would definitely recommend this Love Home Swap (have told my parents about it already!!). Thanks Brenda! ”

“We had a wonderful holiday in Jacksonville at Brenda’s house. The house is larger than it seems on the photos and the pool and outside area is such a peaceful oasis. Everything (especially the beds) are extremely comfortable and luxurious. This is a great area very rich in history and nature and we loved exploring. The beaches are beautiful and our favourite day trips were St. Augustine and The Kingsley Plantation. Brenda could not have been more helpful before and during the swap. She really thought of every detail and it made everything so easy for us. It was a pleasure to meet Brenda and her daughter Debbie who are both just great. Thank you so much Brenda for the holiday of a lifetime!”

“We had a lovely couple of weeks based at Brenda and Debbie's spacious and comfortable house in Jacksonville. A great place to hang out by the pool and relax, and also a base for exploring the wider area. All the amenities you could need are just down the road and we did a number of day trips including St Augustine, Amelia Island, Kennedy Space Centre and various state parks. The Cummer Museum in Jacksonville is highly recommended. We also ventured further afield for a couple of nights away in Savannah and Charleston - both very beautiful and full of history. Brenda and Debbie really looked after our place very well and left it looking great. All the best for more great swaps!”

“Had such a great experience staying at Brenda's lovely home. Comfy beds and plenty of space and fully equipped in all areas. Brenda left us toiletries to use as well as having a basket of different products if anything was forgotten. It left some much needed space in the cases. The enclosed back porch overlooking the pool provided a nice atmosphere for some much needed down time. The house has great cable, in addition to Netflix and prime. Brenda met us on arrival and was very responsive in helping organise our trip and to any questions. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, and would love to stay again when back in Florida to visit.”
