Our beautiful home (frequently noted as the best house in Telluride), built in 1996 and continuously renovated, is in Telluride's National Landmark Historic District, which is on the sunny side of town and one block from Colorado Avenue, where most restaurants and shops are located, and 5 blocks from the ski gondola. We have an incredible chef's kitchen that includes top of the line stainless steel appliances, two sinks and two dishwashers, and looks out at a beautiful open living area with a large fireplace. There is a separate dining room with a fireplace, 2 queen bedrooms (each have a loft with a twin-sized mattress) and master bedroom upstairs, and a large king-sized bedroom in the basement with its own bath. The master bedroom, also king-sized, has a large bathroom with an oversized whirlpool bathtub, a steam shower, and two separate sinks. All rooms have incredible views and they all have their own full bathrooms. There is a large screen high definition TV in the basement with exercise equipment and a pool table. There are four other high definition TVs in the house. We have an outdoor deck with comfortable seating that overlooks our prettiest mountains and waterfalls.
The Town of Telluride has gained increased notoriety in the last few years because of its top rated Film Festival, Bluegrass Festival, and other summer events, and the consistent position it holds at or near the top of various travel and ski magazines' lists of best ski resorts in North America. Telluride has also attracted the attention of many celebrities who now have homes in the area. For those unfamiliar with our town, go to telluride.com.
It is possible that one of our cars could be included with this exchange. There are a number of National Parks and National Monuments within one and a half and three hours drive from our house. These include Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Black Canyon National Park, and Mesa Verde National Park. These can be visited at any time of the year.
