About our home

Our two story open home features lots of windows and sunshine which look out on the North Bay. Large French doors open up onto an inviting deck with a water view and lovely landscaped garden which features lavender, olive trees, roses and a back patio with its own outdoor fireplace and dining area. Secluded from our neighbors our home is next to an open park wildlife area with hiking trails minutes away. Cycling, sailing and fabulous restaurants are readily available. The wine country is just 40 minutes North of us. My favorite things to do are to take the ferry into the city, have lunch at the ferry building and visit a museum or just grab a bike from our garage and bike along the beautiful Tiburon waterfront.

On the first floor we have an open-plan family room/kitchen/dining area which steps on to our expansive deck and comfortable outdoor lounge. We have integrated indoor/outdoor speakers, Wi-Fi, Apple TV, CD player and cable. We have additionally a front living room/dining room area with a front powder room for guests. On the garden side we have two bedrooms, each with a twin bed one of which has an attached full bathroom with the additional full bathroom in the hall next to the second bedroom.

Our second floor consists of our third single bedroom and its attached bath and our master suite with a large en-suite bath complete and sunken tub. Our home has an open sunny relaxed feeling, where one can just put their feet up, have a glass of wine, enjoy the beautiful view with the ferries heading back and forth across the bay and watch the kids play trampoline basketball in the yard. We hope you will enjoy your stay here.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
The Buckeye, Sushi Ran, Tsukiji, Brick and Bottle and Tyler Florence's El Paseo
Cool bars
El Paseo, The Buckeye or if you want a local hang out - Rick's Wine Bar
Cozy cafés
Cafe Rulli in Larkspur or Blue Bottle Cafe in the Ferry Building
Retail therapy
We have most of the major stores locally with downtown SF harboring any retail boutique you desire. Head to Hayes Valley for some fun funky shopping or Chestnut, Union and Sacramento Streets for some boutique shopping.
Bit of culture
Marin has a history of arts and music. Head to downtown Mill Valley on Tuesday nights for a bit of comedy at 142Throckmorton Theater where you might see locals Robin Williams or Dana Carvey pop in to make your sides hurt with laughter.
Walks in the park
Muir Woods, Mt. Tamalpais or any number of walks along the water with views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay.
Spot of exercise
Fantastic biking right from our door - loop around Tiburon or drive three minutes for a beautiful oceanside walk with a view of Sausalito and the Bridge. We have trails and open space just a couple of minutes from the house. You can clamber around Ring Mountain or start in the nature preserve trail and walk up. Tons of of wildlife and birds.
Day tripping
We are just 20 minutes from San Francisco with tons to do - my favorites are the Ferry Building or any number of our newly revamped Museums. Presidio is just over the Bridge with numerous activities. The wine country is only 40 minutes north.
