About our home

Our historic adobe, with 14 foot saguaro ribbed ceilings and 2 foot thick walls, is located near downtown Tucson in a quiet, historic neighborhood. From the plain front of the house you would never guess that there is a 200 m2 house inside with a large yard in back. This house is truly unique and was featured in the August 2004 issue of the World of Interiors.

Our neighborhood [Barrio Viejo] is a nice mix of artists, lawyers, Hispanic, straight and gay...with an occasional homeless guy wandering through. Downtown is a 10 minute walk away where there are restaurants and galleries. But it is the Sonoran desert that most people come to southern Arizona to see. With it's noble saguaro cactus' and surprising wildlife, the nearby desert has great hiking & biking trails, fantastic panoramas and inspiring night skies. Our house makes a great home base for exploring and staying here gives you the experience of life in an 1860's Territorial adobe...but with all the amenities of modern life.

My partner and I spent many years restoring this house. We are designers and work all creative fields. We speak some Spanish and are fluent in English [first language] and Thai.
