About our home

Our cabin is warm and inviting. It has 5 large bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It is right off a highway, but on a quiet road and only 1.5 miles from the entrance of Sierra At Tahoe ski resort. We get lots of snow in the winter and our cabin is right on 170 feet of river frontage, so the summers are beautiful sitting in the hammocks or chairs out in the backyard. We are only 15 mins, from downtown South Lake Tahoe with restaurents, clubs, casinos and theaters/shows. Our area boosts some of the best hiking and climbing, lakes and streams around. There are World class events from mountain biking to ski events year round. Our cabin has a large full kitchen and dining table to seat 12 or more. It is a great destination in all the seasons. THIS IS A SECOND HOME SO IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE SIMULTANEOUS. WE ALSO HAVE OUR MAIN RESIDENCE IN SUTTER CREEK, CA THAT WE COULD EXCHANGE.

My husband and I are self employed, we both own and operate a Reining Horse Ranch (see the homepage) and I am a Real Estate Agent (see the homepage). We have a daughter that is 14 that Home Schools and our son is 18 and in college at UC Santa Barbara. We like to travel and have done several home exchanges and have loved them, mostly in the States. We are open to new experiences and places and might travel with or without our children, depending on the time of year. We love the BEACH. WE ALSO HAVE OUR MAIN RESIDENCE IN SUTTER CREEK, CA THAT WE COULD EXCHANGE. It is an awesome place in Ca, to visit and do day trips. Our home has recently been totally remodeled, 3+ bedrooms, 3 baths, game room, new inground pool We are close to the mountains, but live in town. We are 2 hours from San Fransisco.

Ideally located right by a major ski resort, Sierra At Tahoe (www.sierraattahoe.com) among vast trees and right on the South Fork of the American River. We are 15 mins. from downtown South Lake Tahoe, where there are casinos, theaters, shows, shopping and just about anything that you would like to do. We are 1.5 miles from the ski resort or you can travel about 15 mins. to the Heavenly Valley Ski resort.
