About our home

This is my vacation home in Teton Valley, Idaho. It is a small but very comfortable house with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, modern kitchen. Electric heat and a gas heating stove in the living room. Double garage with ski equipment and 2 bicycles for guests to use. View of the Grand Tetons. It is a rural area, but close to towns, Victor 2 miles, Driggs 8 miles, and Jackson Hole Wyoming 25 miles. There are two porches with table and chairs for eating outdoors in the summer.

Visitors can enjoy mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, river sports, and fishing in and near Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. During the summer, there is a symphony playing classical music in Jackson and various popular music and folk music festivals near Driggs. Farmer's markets every week and organic farms close by.
In winter, all types of skiing are nearby: Cross country, ski touring and downhill at Teton Village and Grand Targhee ski areas. These areas have some of the best powder snow conditions in North America.

A car and 2 bicycles are available for visitors. My principal residence is Berkeley California, near San Francisco. That house could be exchanged also. The exchange can be non-simultaneous.

More about us

  1. I retired after a career in international development. My late husband and I climbed and skied in many areas in the North and South America, Europe and Asia. We liked the Teton mountain range best for climbing and skiing, so in 1993 we bought this house.
I am 82 years old and my companion is the same age. I have 4 grandchildren, aged 14 to 22. I might bring one or two of them on the next exchange in Europe or

Costa Rica. We have done several successful exchanges in France, Spain, and different areas of America. The availability of my homes is very flexible and exchanges need not be simultaneous. No smoking or pets in either home. Exchange of car possible.

  2. Travis, my partner, worked as a winemaker and an entrepreneur.

  3. We speak French and Italian and love the mountains and the cities.

Where is it?

The house is in a semi rural subdivision of 8 houses. 3 neighbors have horses. It is a friendly neighborhood. Everyone enjoys outdoor activities. The land is flat but there are hills on all sides of the valley, including the spectacular Teton range to the east. My primary residence in Berkeley is a 4 bedroom house, 30 minutes from San Francisco. It is also available for exchange.
