About our home

Our condo is within Wedgefield Plantation with a 1740 Manor House, 18 hole golf course, swimming pool, marina and tennis courts.- complete with Live Oaks draped in Spanish moss that are hundreds of years old. Georgetown is an historic seaport town on the Winyah Bay. The beaches are in Pawleys Island and Litchfield (10 miles) as is Brookgreen Garden and Huntington State Park. Charleston is 65 miles south and Myrtle Beach is 30 miles north of Georgetown.
Our home has 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds and 1 double) and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen opens to a courtyard and the backyard has a stream behind it. The living room and dining area has a fireplace, vaulted ceiling and skylights.

  1. My husband has an Foreign car repair/sales business. I work for Habitat for Humanity. We have 2 children. Our daughter Kate is 24 and a graduate student in Art Education at USC. Our daughter Hannah is 14 and attends high school at Lowcountry Day School. We would welcome the opportunity to travel and spend time together as a family and offer our home for others to do likewise.

Georgetown is a beautiful, southern small town with 5 rivers joining to create the Winyah Bay. Rich with history, the town offers numerous museums pertaining to the culture of the area and an economy based on rice, indigo and fishing. Georgetown offers interesting shops, fine restaurants, homes listed on the Historic Registry and boat cruises for fishing or looking for shells. Georgetown's proximity to the beautiful beaches, Charleston, Mrytle Beach and even Savannah, Georgia make it a desirable location.
