About our home

Our house is located in Windhall/ Manchester, VT. It has 3 bedrooms (1 master bedroom with a Queen Bed and a Futon, 1 bedroom with 3 twin beds and 1 bedroom with two twin beds) , twin pullout sofa available in the living room. So, it sleeps 8-9 comfortably. There are 1 and a half bathrooms. There is a deck with views of the Green Mountain Forest, a fire pit and a BBQ grill. The place is very cozy with an open kitchen/living room/dining room set up that is great for after ski or hiking!!! There is a wood burning stove!! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook a meal and entertain. There is TV with basic cable. DVD player and Blue Ray and also you can stream from Amazon or Netflix. Internet is also available.

Below is helpful information about the area. There are great entertainments options for kids and adults.

Bromley is 3 min drive from the house. It’s a family friendly mountain with some very good trails. Great Ski Camp for Kids and they have a very cool Adventure and Aerial Park in the Spring/Summer and Fall.

Stratton is one of the largest mountains in New England. It’s very large and has amazing terrain. It’s about 15 mins from the house and has the best snowmaking in the area.
Stratton’s July 4th Fireworks, Columbus Day Weekend Beer Fest, New Year’s Fireworks and Concerts.

Manchester, VT is nestled in the heart of the Green Mountains, this former iron-mining town today is the quintessential Vermont getaway, complete with a white steeple church, antique shops and cozy country shops. Manchester is a true all-season destination. In winter, skiers arrive to hit the downhill slopes at nearby Bromley and Stratton Mountains or the cross-country trails at Hildene. Spring and summer bring hikers who can opt for easy treks through Merrick Forest or more challenging ones like Prospect Rock, a three-mile hike, mostly uphill, that offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains as reward to those who make it. Manchester fly-fishing is also a popular pastime, drawing enthusiasts from around the country who come to learn or hone their skills. Big name outlet stores in Manchester Center draw shoppers year-round. In the fall, it's all about foliage. Enjoy the vibrant colors from a canoe on the mighty Battenkill River, a bicycle along a scenic path or take the gondola up Stratton mountain for magnificent views. No matter what your vantage point, the show is always spectacular. Don’t forget to check out the great outlet stores and Orvis.
