About our home

A well kept, clean house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small powder room, a cozy living area, a large kitchen attached to a sweet sitting room and a basement living area with a TV (VCR and DVD players) and a well stocked film selection! There is a computer with internet access, a washer and dryer, and a telephone. The House is located in a large meadow, and there are lovely gardens and flower beds surrounding the house. There is also a charming front porch with a fantastic view of the mountains! The house is located on a ten acre piece of land so there aren't houses too close by.

Wolftown is a small rural area that includes a small number of homes and a country mercantile store. Wolftown is located in the county of Madison, a very short distance away from many American President's homes, such as Monticello(Thomas Jefferson) and Montpelier(James Madison. The house is also only about 30 minutes from Shenandoah National Park(a great place to hike and enjoy the sites). Madison is also about 30 minutes from a small city(Charlottesville), so it is fairly close to many attractions and available activities, but still has a small town feel! It is also only about 2 hours away from Washington D.C, the nation's capitol

I am a land conservation officer for a regional non-profit environmental firm. I have one daughter still living at home. We like to cook, have cats and a small dog, a vegetable garden, and lots of books.
We are only fluent in English with a smattering of French.
This area is very beautiful and many people from Washington D.C. have weekend homes locally.
It's a good place to relax, sit and look at the mountains, listen to the birds and enjoy the Virginia weather.
