About our home

The View is a private condo within a 4 star, oceanfront resort, called Point Pleasant. It is the most popular resort on the island of St. Thomas, according to Trip Advisor.

Enjoy stunning and ever-changing views of the sea and 9 islands including St. John and the British Virgin Islands.

This destination is famous for:

Relaxation
Pristine white and pink coral beaches
Snorkeling
Sailing Trips
Powerboat trips and island-hopping
Diving and diving lessons
Live music
Hiking trails
Weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries and birthdays.
Zip lining over the canopy
Water sports
spectacular scenery.

The 15-acre eco resort has many nature trails. You can walk to our small private beach or along Pineapple Beach, where you will find Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. Coki Beach offers snorkeling and diving. Coral World, has the only aquarium in the territory.

Your deck overlooks the sea and 9 islands; the National Park and famous Lindquist Beach, the most unspoiled beach on the island.

We are located on the preferred East End of the island which has most of the beaches.
Public transportation includes taxis and the "dollar bus".
You might want to rent a car because the islands are very hilly. You can rent a car that you can also take to St. John,
on the barge. I can advise on this and can also help to plan your vacation.

Red Hook, in 10 minutes. Here you will find 20 restaurants and bars.
The ferry terminal has a ferry shuttle to Cruz Bay on St, John. You can also take a ferry to other islands in the BVI including Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, and Virgin Gorda.
The 20-minute ferry ride was written up in Fodor's guide as being one of the most beautiful ferry rides in the world.
Here you will also find ferries to other islands.

Two-thirds of the island of St. John is a national park. There are many hiking trails and many unspoiled and famous beaches including Honeymoon, Hawksnest, Trunk, Cinnamon, and Maho. Hike the Leinster Bay Trail to see the wild donkeys and swim with turtles. See the Annaberg Sugar Mill ruins. Shop for arts and crafts at the enchanting Mongoose Junction.

Listen to local musicians and bands playing nearby on Sapphire Beach.

A stay at this resort could cost between $200 and $400 per night.
Since the condo is rented to cover fees, it is only possible to exchange during the summer and autumn, duing August, September, October and the first part of November.
Exchanges do not have to be simultaneous.
The only places I want to exchange to are:
In the UK: Cornwall and the Cotswolds.
In France; Paris and anywhere that a car is not necessary. Interested in Lyons and the south of France.
Greece, near the sea and the Greek Islands.
Exchanges do not have to be simultaneous
There is a $125 cleaning fee.
