“We had our second swap with Jan and had another wonderful week at South Golden Beach. We loved staying at Jan's beautiful house on the beach. The location is quiet and just a short stroll to a pristine and beautiful beach which is patrolled by surf life savers. It is a perfect fishing and board riding beach. We enjoyed walking along the beach every morning, swimming in the surf and sitting under our umbrella for hours. Our week holiday was so relaxing. But, if you want to be out and about there is an endless number of interesting places to see within a short drive. South Golden Beach is perfectly located, being just north of Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay, and south of several interesting villages and larger tourist towns which are lovely to visit, including Kingscliff, Coolangatta and the Gold Coast just a 30 minutes drive to the north. There are two excellent cafe's close by, Mrs Birdy's cafe a short walking distance from Jan's house and Yum Yum's cafe a two minute drive away. Within a short drive there are several diverse and excellent restaurants. The Brunswick Hotel and its famous outdoor beer garden is always a lovely experience. Jan is an excellent communicator and very helpful in planning our holiday swap. We highly recommend Jan's South Golden Beach home and we hope to swap with Jan again in the future. Lynn and Kevin ”
