“We had a great exchange with Chris and family from Greenan in Wicklow. They have a very spacious, clean and well equipped home in very peaceful surroundings. The house is a perfect base from which to explore Wicklow. Just a 45 minute drive in any direction can take you to so many different places. We particularly enjoyed Kilruddery House with the ropes course for kids, Wicklow Gaol and Powerscourt House and Gardens. We ate out on several occasions in local restaurants and found the everyone to be very friendly and interested to know where we were from. Email communication with Chris and family was easy in the lead up to the exchange, and we were given lots of information in terms of places to visit and their home. We felt very much at home as soon as we arrived. Our kids loved playing with the toys and games, and were able to play outside in complete safety. The old cottage living room was the perfect place to relax at the end of our busy days out sight seeing. On our return home our house was very clean. I would highly recommend this home exchange - a lovely house and a lovely family.”
