“For those you wish to be near Lucca ,but not in the city, Vanessa's historical estate is a must stay. We felt privileged to have the opportunity to lay our head's down in such a wonderful slice of history. The main villa is large grand palace with many rooms and appointed with Vanessa's collection of antiques. Just walking through this house is a joy for those interested in art and antiques. The side houses , one of which we stayed in, is a self-standing home with two floors and many rooms. As in the main villa, there are many interesting pieces of art intermixed throughout the bedrooms and common quarters. The kitchen is large and appointed for cooks if you do so wish. The grounds are a ramble of green areas, patios and a large pool. The pool is quite beautiful and sizable for those interested in laps. In summer it would be very nice. Overall, Villa Michaela is a place to hang out and enjoy a bit of relaxation. I recommend it to those who enjoy historical gems, reliving the stately life of leisure but knowing Lucca awaits just five minutes away.What a treasure. Thanks to Vanessa for a wonderful experience.
