“Anna's house is the perfect place from which to explore/experience Umbria! We could not have been happier with the house, the location or the ease of communication with Anna. We loved Umbertide, the closest town. It had a wonderful farmer's market, fantastic super market, fresh pasta store, wine stores, cafes and the all important gelato shops. There were endless places to explore in the surrounding countryside and the amazing pizza of Perugia was 25 min away. On top of all the great things to do, coming home to the house and fabulous pool was the highlight of every day. The house is beautiful, well laid out, lots of places to sit and eat. We especially enjoyed the back patio where we had espresso while listening to the birds every morning. The kitchen is fully equipped and there was nothing we needed that we couldn't find. The pool area was amazing with lots of chairs, umbrellas and a really big, clean pool. Everyone in our group was in love with the house and the only down side was all the houses on the rest of our trip just couldn't compare to Anna's. If you get the chance to exchange with Anna - don't hesitate- jump on it! (Her family stayed in our house and they were the perfect guests). ”
