“We had a lovely stay in this quaint apartment in a very small village in the center of the Umbria region. Like all small villages, the homes are old stone on the outside and remodeled on the inside. The bathroom and kitchen has everything you need and both are modern. The apartment is radiator heated and there is a pellet heater that supports the system easily. You will need a car and the parking is a short walk on the edge of the village. The neighbors are friendly, but only Italian is spoken. There is a very good restaurant in right in the village and we enjoyed two meals there - really a treat. The host family met us at the apartment and showed us around. They are very nice and one of the daughters helped with translating. Very nice! They checked in on us via texts to make sure all was well and to offer trip suggestions. There is a grocery store about ten minutes away. The location is perfect for day trips - Assisi, Spoleto, Orveito, Perugia. Use your phone GPS to navigate. Just one thing - there is room for 4 to sleep, but the beds are in one room. That was fine for the three of us, but might not work for some. We loved our stay as it was authentic, lovely, clean and the host family was very helpful. ”
