“Here goes my third attempt at trying to review this swap (hopefully my comments 'save' this time....) Charles & Lena's beautiful 18th floor apartment overlooking the glassy Straits of Malacca was spacious, spotless, comfortable & a great base for our exploration of the sights (& tastes) of Penang. Our hosts went above and beyond by very kindly organising our airport pick up with their usual driver, by lending us Lena's car for the week (a car is essential in this location) and by providing us with an in home massage with their usual masseuse to iron out the kinks of touring. From Charles & Lena's home we saw a lot of Penang's attractions & took the boata across to Langkawi for 2 nights as a side excursion.
