“We had two delightful weeks in this vulcanic island with plenty of exuberant vegetation, clean waters and cute houses. But the best of all was the warmth and hospitality received by Margarida and her family: specially her father Joao but not less by her mother Cecilia, husband Jose, kids, daugther-in-law, brother and sister, etc. We traveled, my wife, my daughter and I ... I thought Carla, 18 years old, could get bored, but on the contrary she loved it and want to come back to visit other islands in the future ... to follow the whales and the dolphins. I loved fishing close to the coast and believe me there is plenty of good fish. The wolf did not get there yet ... no fastfood restaurants, no big buildings, no mass tourism. Angra do heroismo is a small well conserved and remodeled city after the 1980 earthquick, a Human Patrimony ... There are not good picture references in internet or any thing close to reality ... what you see and feel is better. Please no disco-pub, drinking, smoking, big hotels people. Let's keep this islands far from big money makers and preserve its soul and beauty.”
