“My husband and I had a wonderful time at Helen’s apartment in Tavira. Situated in a very peaceful, safe gated complex. The apartment is modern, extremely comfortable with everything you need for your holiday. We really enjoyed the short walk into town along by the river. Tavira has so much to offer. An historic town with incredible restaurants ( the standard of Helen’s recommended restaurants was particularly high). Tavira is a unique town - traveling by boat passing salt pans filled with pelicans and other birds- to get to the spectacular beaches.These were unspoiled, pristine,beaches with lifeguards in certain areas, a great selection of restaurants and a fun beach bar. We also visited a local town whose beach (barril beach)was reached via a mini train, again-a unique location, beyond a nature reserve. Tavira is a beautiful town with several churches and museum well worth visiting. We took the local tourist train.We also went to a concert of traditional music. It was easy to loose track of time sitting at one of the many cafes on the cobbled streets. We hired a car for a few days. Tavira has easy access to the main motorway allowing easy travel to the entire algarve. Helen couldn’t have been more helpful . Communication with her was extremely easy. We were delighted that they visited our house in Leitrim . I would highly recommend a visit to Tavira. ”
