“For absolute peace and quiet, there is no better place than this log cabin in south-west Slovenia where we were "disturbed" only by the owls at night and the tinkly cow bells by day. The log house itself is so comfortable and just perfect for us two with a lovely sun terrace with BBQ and also a shady veranda for eating and reading our holidays novels! And this is such an interesting area with castles, disappearing lakes and caverns hiding unique blind lizards. Tadej and Tanja are a brilliant couple who made sure we felt welcome in their cabin and left our place spotless. We shared many laughs during our two evenings together - one in Slovenia, one in Italy. We were novices at house exchange and in every way this was the perfect first experience.”
