“Södermalm has such varied architecture and is so full of great restaurants and shops, you never really need to go anywhere else. Julia's modern family apartment gave us a great base from which to explore the area on foot. We enjoyed long walks by Tantolunden - through urban areas, allotments, parkland, and finally a lovely coastal walk with small beaches. Visiting the many historic churches - Sofia, Katarina, Marie Magdelena - and the cobbled back streets of Södermälarstrnad (via Bastugatan and Brännkyrkegatan). It was nice to come home to a very quiet apartment (no traffic noise) and we especially enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, which is a real sun trap. ”
