“We were blown away by this home. It is way larger than described or that you can tell from the pictures. It's located on a beautiful large lot with trees, shrubs, flowers, and many areas just to sit and take in all of God's Creation. Kerry was very open and easy to converse with and we enjoyed getting to know each other a little bit as we continued to communicate during the 6 months that passed between the time we first started our discussion, and even beyond our stay. The home is on a bluff with views of Lake Michigan from inside the home as well as from the upper deck that surrounds the home on three sides. Fall is a great time to visit Wisconsin and within a 5 or 10 mile radius, there are many parks, beaches, rivers, forests, and wildlife protected areas to visit. Just across the street and a 5 minute walk to the Lake, is a wonderful beach at Hika Park. There is lots of beach glass that can be found on the beach with drift wood and brightly colored rocks, a small creek that feeds into Lake Michigan, a wooded area where birds abound, and a lovely beach to watch the sun rise. We often started our day with a visit to Hika Park just to see what the evening waves may have washed up to the shore. Many times after a day out, we'd stop at Hika Park to check things out, before returning "home". The home itself was unique in its design and lay out. Very cozy, yet spacious. We loved it, to the point, we felt spoiled and didn't want to leave when it was time to continue our journey up to the Apostle Islands. The whole area is quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this home to others looking for peace and tranquility during vacation. A gas grill on the upper deck, and a propane grill on the lower deck, a propane fire pit on the lower deck, and a wood burning fire pit in the yard. Who has that?
