Our apartment is on the mezzanine floor of an apartment building constructed in 1886. We live here for almost 20 years now because we never found a place where living, working and lately going to school is so easy. On the streets of St. Pauli you will find everthing from street-food to fancy restaurants, bars and clubs, shops and supermarkets, quiet parks or museums in walking distance. If you have enough of the hustle on the streets just escape an take a rest in the garden of our appartement or pick yourself an apple or a plum from the tree over there. After passing a really shabby entrance area you will find yourself in our home which was restored with little money by its owner after the second world war. The appartement is a mixture of 19th an 20th century interior and modern furnishing. There are a living room with TV and music system, a dinning room with a table for 6-8 people, a master bedroom, a single bed room (teenager), a huge "home office room", a kitchen and a small bathroom with bathtub. 
Next to the house there is a private underground car park for smaller cars. Bigger vehicles have to stay on the street in front of the house, guests can receive parking permits. 
Since our cat hates to travel, he will be home during your stay and we kindly ask you to take care on him. He is very friendly, spents a lot of time outside in the garden and needs food only once a day. If you don´t have time the neighbors can take over.

Family-friendly apartment in vibrant neighborhood

Our two-story house with 180,00 m2 and a lange garden with 1.000,00 m2 combines a remodeled older part with wooden floor and the new modern part. I designed it as an architect und my husband who has workes as a chef at "The Waldorf NYC" had the idea to build it around the big professional kitchen. Because we like to cook together with friends. In our garden we have a small house with the sauna. We live in a quiet part in the west of Hamburg but also very close by car, bus or ferry into the city center. Our neighbors are very helpful and like to play music. In the summer time you can hear the piano over the road and we have a lot of barbecues (braai) and at one weekend a street party with all neighbors. You can reach the river Elbe in 10min by car (4,9km). The harbour in Wedel is 25min away by car. In a walking distance you can enjoy beautiful parks like the Volkspark with the dahlia garden, Lise-Meitner-Park and Jenischpark. By car you can drive to the city center in 18min (9,2 km). You also have the possibility to go by ferry boat into the city to the "Elbphilharmonie". Very close are the football and ice-hockey stadium and the horse racing track.

Here is a short list over things we recommend to do in Hamburg.
•	eat a good meal in a nice restaurant, maybe in one of the famous TV chefs Tim Mälzer, Steffen Henssler or one of the star restaurants
•	climb the top of church MICHEL and hear the trumpeter weekdays at 10am and 9pm and sundays at noon 12 o’clock, this is an old tradition since more than 300 years
•	see the river Elbe and the inner city sea Alster
•	go shopping at the Mönckebergstraße and Jungfernstieg
•	visit Travemünde and St. Peter Ording (to play on the beaches and do some water sports), Lübeck (to see the historic city center and taste some marzipan) and Schwerin (to visit the castle with 365 towers and see Giuseppe Verdi‘s monumental opera „Aida“ at the castle festival)

This apartment is located in a very popular and interesting district called Ottensen in Hamburg, Germany with many restaurants and cafes. On the ground floor of our house we have 3 new apartments furnished with fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping sofa and boxspring bed. One of the apartments has 2 levels and a sauna. Because of the location near the River Elbe and and close public transport - you do not need a car.

Super nice, bright 3-room flat in the 3rd Floor (top floor) in the popular district Eimsbüttel (Hoheluft-West/Generalsviertel)The apartment:The old building is on the 3rd floor with beautiful, newly sanded floors (with the exception of the bathroom). Through the large windows is bright and quiet, because the house is situated in a one-way road. Both bedrooms have a double bed (140x200) equipped. The kitchen has a beautiful old wooden table, providing a comfortable seating for 4 people. The kitchen has a gas stove, oven, sink, toaster, coffee maker and washing machine (storage room adjacent to kitchen) equipped. The bathroom has a spacious bath and shower. The toilet is extra.
Overall, my apartment is equipped with great attention to detail, so you can definitely feel at home as a guest.Equipment:
