Our Georgian three-storey terrace house is just up from the beach in Sandycove, in the shadow of James Joyce Tower.  It's pretty-much intact as a period house with spacious rooms and big handsome windows.  Sandycove is a 'highly desirable' suburb of South Dublin - the Dart Rail service will whisk you to the heart of the capital in 30 minutes.  The village of Glasthule is a five minute walk away with a host of shops, cafes, and restaurants.  Historic Dalkey, one of Ireland's prettiest villages, is only a 15 minute stroll.  The house is filled with contemporary furniture and modern art; with stunning marble fireplaces and handsome gardens front and back.  Parking is free and on-street.  There's a modern shower-room and a kitchen that's well-equipped but possibly a bit too small for some.  The third bedroom doubles as a home office and there's excellent broadband throughout. Visitors have access to the ground and top floors and the gardens - the garden flat is occupied.

Its also only 5 minutes from the sea and the beach, and 15 minutes walk to breath-taking views over killiney hill and ireland's eye. It is situated in a sleepy cul-de-sac only 3 minutes walk from the bustling fishing village of Glasthule with all its amazing cafes and restaurants. There is an outdoor gym, children's playground and cycle path just 1 minute away in the park which is just across our garden wall.

The house is a terraced mid nineteenth century terraced house in the seaside town of Dun Laoghaire.  
Walk on Dun Laoghaire Pier. Go for a swim in The Forty Foot - 20 minutes on foot or the new Dun Laoghaire Baths - only 5 minutes!
Every Sunday there is a farmers' market in the "People's Park" just down the road.
Cinema, supermarkets, library, theatre, restaurants and pubs are all within walking distance. Easy access to city.

The house is surrounded by 3 outdoor areas, a rockery to the front, a side courtyard with an indoor-outdoor breakfast bar and back garden.

There are 3 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms all fitted with rain-head showers.  2 sitting rooms and a large kitchen diner (as well as a utility room).  Underfloor heating throughout.

Based in one of the best suburbs in south county Dublin.  A quiet cul de sac with sea views from the top of the road.  2 km walk to the beach and the nearest sea swimming point.  Beautiful parks and shopping are close by.   2km to Dalkey and Glasthule/Sandycove villages, both with fabulous restaurants, cafes, and pubs.  A choice of Beautiful walks.

Stoneyard is a lovely 3 bedroom mews house on a very quiet private road, 5 minutes walk from Dalkey village.

The house is fully equipped and has a private patio to the rear as well as off street parking in front of the house for 1 car. Parking for a second car is also available at the other end of the private street (100 metres away).

Beautiful, bright, 5 bedroom, 270sqm (2900 sq ft) detached family home situated in a quiet cul de sac in upmarket coastal town of Dun Laoghaire, 10km from Dublin city centre. With two reception rooms, a large kitchen/breakfast room, 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, utility room, office, home gym, a large front and back garden, and private off street parking for 3 cars, there is ample space for any family to enjoy a comfortable stay. The garden contains children's swings, tree house, sand pit and trampoline, as well as a large deck with gas bbq and furnished patio - perfect for outdoor dining.

This is our family home and the bedrooms are currently configured as pictured to sleep 7 adults/children and 2 infants (bedroom 1 has king sized bed & en suite, bedroom 2 has king sized bed & single bed, bedroom 3 has double bed, bedroom 4 has cot, bedroom 5 has cot). However, we can provide additional single beds in bedrooms 4 and 5, if needed, which would allow 9 adults/children and 2 infants to sleep comfortably. 

The house is modern and well equipped, including WiFi, smart tvs etc. We are happy to provide baby/toddler equipment (cots, high chairs, car seats etc).

Dun Laoghaire and Glasthule towns are a 10 minute walk away, with a wide selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. The Dart (train) station and bus stop are a 12 minute walk away, both of which take you to Dublin city centre in 25 minutes.

All amenities are within a 10 minute walk, including Dun Laoghaire pier, parks, playgrounds, beaches and the well known forty foot swimming spot. The famous mountains and beaches of Wicklow are a 40 minute drive away. We are happy to provide recommendations for where to eat and things to do in the area.

A car exchange is also possible.

The downstairs of the house is a bright open plan living, kitchen & dining space, seating eight, that opens out onto a patio & garden area with gas BBQ & alfresco eating area. 

Upstairs there is 1 double master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe area, 1 Children’s room with bunk beds & bathroom/shower room. 

The attic is converted & is used for a playroom.

Lovely family home in a village by the sea 

We live in a large 4 bedroom, 2 office bright family home in a quiet street in Dublin's exclusive seaside village of Dalkey. We have done a big renovation job on our house and it is now open plan. The garden is south facing so gets lots of sun and has a table and outdoor seating for up to 10 people. 

There is an open dining room / kitchen which also opens out onto the back dining area and garden. We also have a comfortable living room, downstairs toilet and children's playroom with their own TV. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with ensuite, and 2 other double bedrooms and family bathroom. The front first floor bedrooms enjoy some nice ocean views. On the 2nd floor there is another single bedroom with more beautiful views across Dublin. We have fast wifi all over the house.

The street we live on is a quiet residential area and the house has off street parking for 2 cars. It is a 5 minute walk into the village of Dalkey which is a fantastic heritage village with great shops (including some gourmet stores) restaurants, Irish bars, post office, bank, cafes, pharmacies, florists and churches. We are about a 10 minute walk from beautiful Killiney Hill which is a spectacular place for going for walks and sightseeing out across Dublin Bay and city. There are also 2 beaches and 2 playgrounds within walking distance. Dalkey is known for many famous Irish people who live here.

We are also a 5 minute walk to the local DART train station which takes you into Dublin city centre in half an hour along a beautiful coastal train trip. Dublin airport, with it's extensive flight connections, is a 40 minute drive and there is also a comfortable inexpensive and direct aircoach bus with free wifi and air conditioning.

Dalkey is a half hour drive to the beautiful county of Wicklow which is full of amazing walks, national parks, hills and glorioius Irish countryside. There are also lots of great golf courses and beaches 15-60 minutes drive of Dalkey. This is truly a great base if you are visiting Ireland.

And of course Dublin city and Ireland itself is renowned for it's culture, friendliness and great bars.
