 We are looking for  swop  from about 27th   AUG- 10 SEPT near the sea ( but open for other ideas). Our house is available in this period.

 Nuremberg's sights, museums and restaurants are open. We are vaccinated.

Our middle of the row house with a small garden is located in a quiet and green residential area in Nürnberg near the zoo, with super easy and quick access with public transport to the old town centre and famous historic sights. Our home was built in 1969 and is partly renovated. It has an eclectic style with some original features but also lots of modern and quirky details. We have a terrace and a small garden both with shady and sunny areas.  

The house has 3 levels plus a cellar the full length of the house with storage area, wash kitchen etc. There is an an open plan living area with a spacious sofa  on the ground floor,  a guest room/ study with a double sofa bed and our son's spacious room (big enough for two small children) with balcony on the 1st floor and a smallish master bedroom with double bed on the 2nd. 
We have 3 toilets ,a separate walk in shower and a freshly redone family bathroom. Parking is free and easy in the streets around the house. There are 3-4 big supermarkets and bakeries a short drive or 10- 15 WALK away- for basics and bread we always walk . 
There is cleaning fee of 50 EUR ( points swaps).

Nürnberg is interesting for both lovers of culture and history and also families travelling with children.

Zoo with a dolphins' lagoon  located in the forest -10 mins WALK
 Dino museum and park- 40 mins drive

Potterstein summer tobbogan and climbing forest
Great swimming pools and sport activities in green spaces.

 Brombachsee- lovely lake with sandy beach about 40 mins drive away ( see photo)
 Frankonian Switzerland ( Fränkische Schweiz) for hiking

Two of us are members are the local tennis club so we can pass this on to you if you fancy playing tennis in walking distance to house.

Unique family home in Nuremberg by zoo& forest

What we  love about our home is that is placed in a quiet, very secure and civilized green area, not far from the city center.  
The 120 m2 size apartment is full of light, have 4 rooms and 1 bathroom and 1 WC. 
One of the rooms is a dressing room. The living room is connected to the kitchen, from which you can walk out directly into the garden. The sleeping room has a window to the garden and the guests room has a sleeping sofa with box spring technology  and a window to the alley. 
A washing and drying room you can find in the basement.

Just in 500 m distance from home, you can enjoy a very good air, take a walk around the small lake in the park nearby, shop in the Käferlein Center, visit the Faber Castell and walk through the Faber Wood, then enjoy a perfect dinner (sometimes with live music) at San Remo Restaurant. Or take a bike tour to the port and relax a bit at Uschis Treff or on the wide green lawn.

We love our nice semi-detached house near Nuremberg is located in a safe and beautiful area. It is a comfortable, cosy clean and spacious home where we enjoy our daily life.
Our inviting home  is surrounded by a marvelous  nature and the flair of a typical small franconian town. 
Ideally situated as a touring base from which you can discover both historical medieval city of Nuremberg and also bavarian lifestyle in our home town of "Lauf an der Pegnitz" with its pretty market square.

There are plenty of things to explore, the Wenzel Castle in Lauf, Bamberg Rothenburg etc.
Locals and tourists alike particularly appreciate the high quality of life and leisure and the picturesque areas of varied countryside within the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region.
Of course the area also has its share of of good food and in comparison rather cheap. Characteristic of the region are the great variety of good breweries, Franconian wine,...

In Addition to that Nuremberg's life is colourful all year round. It is green mainly in the places where Nuremberg citizens like to spend time in the summer ; in the landscaped, near-natural river meadows of the River Pegnitz, in the parks - attractive destinations, for example for surfing in the Franconian Lake District or rock-climbing in the Fränkische Schweiz, are within easy reach.
