Our  fully renovated 4-5 bedroom family home is a Bondi beauty with flowing layout that encompasses a north-facing living zone and tropical leafy backyard. Set over 2 levels  on a quiet leafy cul-de-sac and 10 minutes walk to the sand it's a lovely combination of Bondi cool and family bliss.

The main living area has soaring ceilings, polished concrete floors and bi-folds to bring the outside in. The sleek designer kitchen has European appliances including an induction stove top. The interior styling brings together  a mix of designer furniture, boho finds and  stunning contemporary art. Together with gas fireplace and Smart TV (with myriad streaming services),  these  details complement the laid back  beachy feel. 

Downstairs also has a large bedroom/second living room with king size bed/daybed and another smart TV; a King single kids bunk bedroom; and full bathroom and laundry.

Upstairs opens onto a flowing landing. Turn right to the master bedroom with private balcony, ocean glimpses, en-suite bathroom and extensive built-ins. Turn left to a third generous bedroom with double bed, desk and lots of storage. The fifth sunny bedroom has a single bed with large  built-in desk that can also be used as home office with daybed. There is another bathroom with full bath upstairs. 

The home also offers desirable off-street parking and  upstairs has reverse-cycle air-conditioning to ensure year-round comfort.

Modern beach house meets boho chic

Our house is a cute federation semi, recently renovated, with luxury appointments throughout.  

We live on a quiet street just moments away from shops, restaurants, cafes and services.  Take your pick, it's just 10 minutes walk to Bondi, Tamarama or Bronte beaches.   

Plenty of room, friendly neighbours.  We store our personal stuff in the master bedroom and yoga studio so the bedrooms and bathrooms you see in the photos are what you get - they will be completely empty and ready to hotel standard:

Guest Bedroom 3 - upstairs - a small room we normally use for a second TV room,  but can sleep 1-2 at a push.  We can set it up for you if you need it.  Has its own bathroom upstairs.

Luxurious, quiet and 10 minutes walk to 3 beaches

Modern, comfortable beach pad in friendly village style neighbourhood at the North end of Bondi Beach. Short walk from top restaurants, casual cosy cafes and buzzy small wine bars. Plenty of ways to fill your day or you could just relax on the beach, in front of the TV or in the garden. 

There is parking under the building and public transport is very close and convenient. 
The local shops are at the end of the street and should meet all of your basic holiday needs. Westfeild Bondi Junction is 10minutes by car or 15 by bus and should fulfil all shopping needs (and has a cinema).

Modern garden apartment 3 minutes walk from North Bondi Beach

Our small 2 bedroom Bondi apartment is a short 10 minute walk downhill to either Bondi Beach or Tamarama beach.  Our balcony has expansive ocean and district views facing south – a perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast or an evening drink.

Our apartment is ideally suited for a couple.  However, it might also be suitable for up to two couples, or one couple with another adult or with one teenage child.  The apartment includes a:
    * modern fully equipped kitchen (with oven, cooktop, microwave, and dishwasher);
    * small internal laundry (with washing machine and clothes dryer);
    * large open plan dining and living area (with access to the balcony via large glass doors);
    * large main bedroom (with queen bed and small ensuite);
    * small second bedroom (with a sofa that converts to a comfortable queen bed); and a
    * main bathroom (with separate bath and shower).

Our apartment is in a small block of seven apartments and is located on the third floor.  There is no lift in the building.  Unfortunately, as our apartment with open balcony is on the third floor, it is not suitable for small children (or pets) or for people who would find the three flights of stairs difficult.  The building is a non-smoking building – smoking is not permitted in the apartments, on the apartment balconies, or in the building common areas.

Bondi Beach (to the north) and Tamarama beach (to the south) are an easy 10 minute walk downhill – be prepared to take a little longer to walk back home up the hill.  The safe swimming areas at Bondi Beach are another 10 minute walk along the beach – it is always best to swim at the patrolled areas between the red and yellow flags.

Bondi Beach provides access to magnificent coastal walks.  The coastal path south continues for about 6kms to Coogee.  The coastal path north continues for about 5km to Watsons Bay at the south head of Sydney Harbour.  In fact, you can follow the marked coastal paths from Bondi all the way around the harbour to Manly – a total of about 80kms, which can easily be done as multiple small walks.

Our apartment is only a few hundred metres from Bondi Road which has multiple cafe and restaurant options offering good quality casual dining.  Of course there are many more dining options at Bondi Beach – many with beach and ocean views.

Bondi has easy public transport access to the city and all its attractions.  The main bus stop is 350 metres from the apartment – the main 333 public bus runs every 5 to 10 minutes throughout the day and evening and takes about 45 minutes to the final stop at Sydney’s Circular Quay (for the opera house and harbour ferries).  Alternatively, the Sydney train network can be accessed from Bondi Junction (less than a 30 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride).  If you do decide to hire a car, our apartment has its own lock up garage.  Please note that the garage is more suitable for a small car – on street parking in the area is limited.

Our planned European holiday in 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic.  We are now planning an extended European holiday in the northern hemisphere summer of 2023.  We are particularly interested in visiting the UK and Ireland but also other destinations in western Europe.  We are interested in a non simultaneous classic swap and we are open to the possibility of making our Bondi apartment available anytime expect when marked as unavailable in the calendar.  We are also very open to the option of a points swap for our Bondi apartment.


Bright Bondi Apartment with Views

Our home has been set up for stylish but casual beachside living with friends and family. It is north facing, so lovely and sunny.  It is walking distance to everything that Bondi Beach has to offer.

There are five double bedrooms, four bathrooms (one with a bath the rest with showers), swimming pool and garden, two outdoor decks and a patio, a main open plan kitchen, living and dining area, two additional separate TV / living rooms, study, laundry and two outdoor showers (one out the front for after the beach and one by the pool).  There is a separate kitchen downstairs attached to the 5th bedroom and the basic 4th bathroom which has its own entrance from the garden and is perfect for older children or an au pair.

Four bedrooms have queen sized beds (three upstairs, one on the bottom floor) and one has a double beds (upstairs). We have ceiling fans in the four upstairs bedrooms.  

Our home is a 5 -10 minute walk to the sand at Bondi Beach and the beginning of the spectacular Bondi to Bronte cliff walk.  It is also a 5 to 10 minute walk to the best restaurants and cafes in Bondi including Tottis, Icebergs, Sean’s Panorama, Elva and Bills.   

There is public transport a 5 min walk away that will take you anywhere you would like to go in Sydney.  So there is no need for a car, but we could include a car swap and there is off street parking in the driveway in front of our double garage.

Until the end of 2023 we are confined to swaps during the Australian school holidays.  From 2024 onwards we will be more flexible.
