Part traditional trullo part villa set in 2.5 acres of olive groves in the tranquil Puglian countryside, 6 kms from Ostuni.  A comfortable, fully equipped 3 bedroom/4 bathroom home with swimming pool.    Please note, for all new points swaps, due to the increased costs for cleaning, laundry and weekly pool upkeep, I will have to charge a 200 euro fee, to be paid prior to arrival.

Puglia Small Village Getaway

A trullo is a traditional rural dwelling with a conical shaped roof or roves, known as coni. Our trullo has 5 'coni'.
It is set in an enclosed garden with a large terrace, perfect for entertaining/eating outside. It is set in a rural location, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The countryside lanes around the house are very pretty and perfect for cycling and walking. The house is basic and comfortable. Bedrooms are well equipped and there is a small separate TV room (DVDs only).
Guests can have access to the large garage  where we keep 3 bikes, and also a table tennis table and beach equipment. The house is located between 3 very pretty towns, Martina Franca, Locorotondo  and Cisternino, where you will find an abundance of good quality restaurants. It is approximately 30 minute drive to local beaches on the Adriatic Coast.

Trullo in Southern Italy

Wonderful estate consisting of three Lamie located 3 km from Ostuni, the famous "white city", about 10 minutes from the sea and 20 minutes from Brindisi airport.
Surrounded by a land of olive groves, almond tree and fruit trees  you can relax in the silence of the countryside 
The house is composed by a main building consisting of a lamia  that includes 2  bedrooms, 1  of which is  double-room and one has 2 bunk beds ; The main bedroom has a big bathroom and a walk-in closet; The other bedroom has a bathroom too. There is also a living room with fireplace and a kitchen. In second lamia there are a bedroom and a bathroom . In the third lamia there are bedroom and bathroom. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning 
Outside, adjacent to the kitchen, there is a porticato with a table where you can eat comfortably in 10 people, a  swimming pool with various sun decks

All within 1.5km of Ceglie Messapica and 5km from Ostuni. This is the heart of Puglia! Surrounded by medieval towns each with fabulous restaurants. Puglia is known for its food! 25 mins by car to a number of beaches, an hour from the jewel of Southern Italy, Lecce. Available for rent only May - September. Other times will consider home swaps

Beautiful Trullo and adjoining house in Puglia

"Trullo" is a typical and original (200 years old) country house.
Surrounded by olive trees in a quiet country setting. A few kilometers you can find beautiful and historic cities such as Ostuni (the withe city), Ceglie Messapica, Alberobello and many other cities in Salento and Valle d'Itria. Is also 15 km from the sea.

Trullo dei Saraceni

Palazzo Grassi is an elegant historical building located in a beautiful whitewashed street in the heart of the famous old city of Martina Franca, in the very popular southern part of Puglia.  The heritage-listed palace (http://www.cartapulia.it/dettaglio?id=126286) was built in 1783 for the noble family of the Barons Grassi, which gives the name to the Grassi Foundation (https://www.fondazionepaolograssi.it/) which since 1974 organises in summer the music Festival of the Itria Valley (https://www.festivaldellavalleditria.it/) for which Martina is famous through the world along with its richly decorated Baroque architecture, “Masserie” and the UNESCO-protected “Trulli”. 
Located in via Principe Umberto with exclusive access just in front of the church dedicated to San Domenico, whose façade is certainly the most outstanding example of Martina's Baroque, Palazzo Grassi is fully furnished with antiques. The structure spreads over three levels and can accommodate up to six people sharing an entrance, cellar, wash-house, kitchen, grand dining-room with frescoed ceiling and terrace, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, wash-house, and a multi-level terrace on the roof from which you can admire the wonderful panorama of the finest old Baroque quarters in Puglia as well as a fantastic views over the beautifully landscaped countryside of an important region for wine production, as well as the cultivation of olives, cereals and a variety of fruits and vegetables. 
In May 2022, Palazzo Grassi was featured on the website of TGCOM24 and Cambi-Milano Auction House as it was offered for a week in a benefit auction in support of the displaced people of Ukraine.
