Situated just 35 mins away from Oslo. Drammen is beautifully located and with lots of opportunities for both recreation, forest hiking, down hill skiing, beach life and urban life.
Our house: A 100m2 red painted early 20th century wooden house, with a 1000m2 garden. Next to the main house is a 40m2 guest-house with a separate bathroom, kitchen, living-room and a small bedroom.  Our house is charming and welcoming, with a fireplace, lots of daylight and a view to the fjord and hillsides. The small balcony connected to the living-room is ideal for breakfast, or a glass of wine in the evenings.

The house is perfect for a couple or a family. 

We also have two adorable bunnies and 5 chicken living in a fenced in hen-yard. You're of course welcome to pick fresh eggs in the morning. (Our neighbour usually feeds the animals when we are away, if not we'll find an arrangement).

Drammen is  located between two green hill sides with a broad river floating through it. The city makes good use of the river and inland waterway called the Drammensfjord, both for recreation, activities and housing. No city in the country has received as many awards for environmental and urban development as Drammen: 6 national and 2 international prizes since 2003. It's an ideal spot if you want to explore both Oslo or the countryside, or smaller citys like Tønsberg or Kongsberg.

If you want to go to Oslo, the train correspondence is very good, with a train leaving every 10-15. mins.
