Wake up to fresh coffee and views over the northern beaches from the master bedroom retreat. Decide whether to walk up and over to Bungan Beach (5mins walk) or down to the Newport (5mins), popular for surfing with lots of great cafes and restuarants.  Walk another 15mins and you are on the small Bilgola beach with a great ocean pool.  Or drive up to the Avalon Village for more restaurants, cafes and boutiques. If it all seems too much, perhaps just lie by the pool with cocktail!

Our house has beautiful ocean breezes and views of the ocean. Rustic timber home, nestled among the gum trees. Our tri - level home has 3 bedrooms with a Queen, 2 singles and a trundle. It also has a large guest room with an additional queen and single bed on the lower level. Sleeps 8 in total. Modern kitchen and bathroom and 2 decks backing onto a bush land reserve. Quiet and peaceful, yet close to all amenities.  Wake up to the kookaburras and amazing sunrises. Only 10 mins walk to famous Newport Beach and only 1 hour to the amazing city of Sydney. Close to shops. 15 mins drive to famous Palm Beach and 30 mins drive to Manly Beach.

Our newly renovated four bedroom home is set on top of the hill in the quiet, family friendly village of Bilgola Plateau on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. 

It is conveniently located 5 minutes drive from the shores of Bilgola surf beach to the east and 5 minutes to quiet waters of Clareville and the Pittwater to the west. 

Our home evokes a resort style ambience, with a huge 100sqm entertaining deck and pool flowing freely from the main lounge, dining and kitchen area. Open all the doors, take your shoes off, relax and enjoy the summer breeze!

There are 4 bedrooms, including a king and queen both with ensuites, 3 bathrooms + powder room, 2 living spaces, a butlers pantry and full laundry. The grassy rear yard has a trampoline for the kids. 

Bilgola is also located 5 minutes drive to Avalon village, which features fantastic restaurants, wine bars and boutique shopping. Iconic Palm Beach is a short 10 minute drive, where 'kiddies corner' is the perfect spot for families with a safe protected beach, great surfing and patrolled swimming. The Barrenjoey Peninsula is also home to numerous golf courses and scenic National Park bush walking including the historic Barrenjoey lighthouse walk.

OUR HOME:    AVAILABLE to end of Oct 2022.    We are NOT interested in a swap over Christmas/Jan/Feb/March.
NO swaps less than 5 days, as it isn’t worth the cleaning  fees.

In 2022 we should be available from July to late October. In 2023 from April to end October.

 Located just a few minutes from beautiful, safe, sandy surfing beaches and overlooking the fabulous Pittwater waterway.

 Entry to our home, which is all renovated inside and out, is down a few steps through a tropical garden with glimpses of the waterways below. The mezzanine entry leads down a few steps to a large open plan  lounge/dining / kitchen/family eating area.  From the lounge and dining areas you can see panoramic views of both Pittwater and the Pacific Ocean with coastline looking all the way to the North Head of Sydney Harbour, and also from all bedrooms.

The lounge/ dining area has soaring 6 m high ceiling, features a slow combustion wood burning fireplace plus gas heating,  and reverse cycle aircon.
There is a large flat screen Smart TV,  and Wifi is available.
The brand new kitchen has stone benches, Italian Ilve gas cooktop and AEG appliances , plus a Miele dishwasher and an espresso machine. At the large island bench is a family eating area looking out to the views. Adjacent is a guest bathroom and laundry. 
Leading out from this large open plan level is a huge semi-covered deck with gas BBQ and 2 outdoor table settings, all overlooking stunning water and coastal views. Watch the local sailing boats while you sip a drink and enjoy the views all around.

Upstairs is the large mezzanine bedroom, only up a few stairs. It has a new full marble ensuite bathroom with double shower. There is a small deck off  this bedroom, also with stunning views of the water, perfect for a Champagne whilst watching the sunset.

Downstairs on the lower level are 2 large guest bedrooms, a renovated bathroom with bath, and a large family room with flat screen Smart TV , desk and laptop computer, plus gym equipment. Again all rooms have large windows with fabulous views. There is also a small deck off this room too, leading down to the back garden. 

A Lexus 250 sedan may be available for a swap.  
Our house is STRICTLY NON SMOKING and no parties.
With 3 levels of stairs with glass balustrading, it is not suitable for children, and so we prefer adults only. 

We are meticulous with our home, as you would  expect us to be in your home too.

Local eateries
There are numerous cafes and restaurants in Newport and locally, with Thai, Australian Modern fusion, Indian, Vietnamese, Chines, Japanese and Italian styles to choose from.

We love this area for its world class walks with panoramas over the Pacific Ocean and glorious Pittwater Waterways. There is easy access to many scenic walks, many great safe surf beaches, cafes & restaurants aplenty, plus stylish shops, supermarkets (5min drive or 10min walk), and 2 cinemas, 6 local golf courses, as well as 2 yacht clubs with great restaurants on the waterfront (5 mins drive) and beautiful safe sailing around the Pittwater waterways. You can hire a boat or a kayak.

NEARBY: 
In 20 mins- there is the wonderful scenic National Park of Ku ring gai, with postcard panoramic views of Pittwater and the whole coastline.  Here there are many walks surrounded native flora and fauna. 
You can catch a ferry from Palm Beach to the Central Coast; Patonga ( with trendy cafe/restaurant), Ettalong or right up the historic Hawksberry River. 

We have a very good local live theatre, called Glen St, 25 mins drive away with year -round plays and music on offer.
Half an hour will see you in Manly from where you can take the ferry across the world's most beautiful harbour to Sydney City.
For anyone visiting Sydney for the first time this is an unforgettable experience as the ferry passes within touching distance of the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Alternatively, in 40minutes (off-peak by car or bus) you can drive to the City and enjoy all the culture, history and delights Sydney has to offer.

Stunning Water views of Ocean & Pittwater

My home in Newport Beach, Northern Beaches of Sydney is my sanctuary. It caters to my love of the ocean and is a beautiful and peaceful place to live. 

The northern beaches are iconic as they are located on a peninsula that ends at Barrenjoey Headland, Palm Beach. This is the  furtherest north of Sydney you can travel to and the walk up to the lighthouse on Barrenjoey Headland is a must!! Absolutely spectacular views. 

My home is modern with a touch of spirituality with lots of colour and artwork throughout the apartment.  There are two spacious bedrooms located at the back of the apartment with very comfortable queen size beds. The main bedroom has an ensuite which includes a bath. 
The apartment building has lift access and a staircase if you prefer to get your steps in as I’m located on the second floor. There Is central air conditioning, plus fans in each bedroom and a lovely sea breeze most nights. You can hear the ocean from the bedrooms at night. There is also a huge rooftop balcony accessible from my floor and has lovely partial views of the ocean and the district. 

There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and European laundry - washing machine and dryer. 

The apartment is western facing and receives an abundance of beautiful sunlight. It rarely gets cold but can get a little warm mid summer. The sliding doors to the balcony are open throughout the year keeping the place well aired and always fresh. You’ll love your stay here. 

In addition to the above I am located in the thoroughfare of Newport so you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to cafes, restaurants and cute bars that are all in walking distance including a supermarket to stock up on supplies. However the area is a very quiet version of the city and for the most part it is very quiet here with most restaurants closing their kitchens at 8pm or 9pm depending on the day of the week. 

If you’re looking for more activity the bus stop is only 50 metres from the apartment building and you can get to anywhere from Newport! The city is only 55 minutes away by bus. You’ll have the best of both worlds staying here.
